Curriculum Lead – Curriculum Development

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Curriculum Lead to spearhead the development and execution of high-impact educational content across all subject verticals. The ideal candidate will possess deep academic expertise, a strong foundation in curriculum design, and proven leadership in managing content development teams. This strategic role involves driving innovation, ensuring academic rigor, and aligning content with global educational standards to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Curriculum Leadership

  • Define and lead the overall curriculum development roadmap across disciplines including STEM, Robotics, Space Science, AI, and Cybersecurity.
  • Develop a modular and scalable framework suitable for in-school, after-school, and online delivery formats.
  • Ensure alignment with national and international academic benchmarks (e.g., NEP, NGSS, IB, CBSE).

2. Curriculum Design & Development

  • Lead the creation of age-appropriate, project-based, and inquiry-driven learning content for K-12 learners.
  • Review and approve lesson plans, activity designs, assessments, and teacher guides for academic quality and instructional integrity.
  • Champion the integration of interdisciplinary themes and real-world applications into learning modules.

3. Team Management & Mentorship

  • Manage and mentor a diverse team of curriculum developers, subject matter experts, content editors, and instructional designers.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and high performance.
  • Conduct regular training and feedback sessions to enhance team capabilities and content quality.

4. Research & Academic Innovation

  • Lead curriculum research initiatives to stay ahead of trends in pedagogy, assessment, and technology-enhanced learning.
  • Integrate findings from educational research and emerging tech into curriculum planning and delivery models.
  • Partner with academic institutions and experts to validate and co-develop new learning models.

5. Review, Quality Assurance & Documentation

  • Establish curriculum development protocols, documentation standards, and quality benchmarks.
  • Oversee content audits and improvement cycles to maintain consistency, accuracy, and engagement.
  • Work closely with the Quality Control and Project Management teams to ensure timely and high-quality curriculum output.

6. Stakeholder Collaboration & Representation

  • Engage with internal departments, partner schools, and education boards for program rollout and curriculum customization.
  • Represent the organization at academic forums, conferences, and strategic meetings.
  • Contribute to proposals, partnerships, and national-level education initiatives.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Deep expertise in curriculum design, pedagogical frameworks, and outcome-based education.
  • Strong command over instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, Bloom’s Taxonomy, UDL).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Experience working with curriculum documentation tools (Google Workspace, MS Office, Notion, or similar platforms).
  • Familiarity with blended and online learning methodologies and tools.

Required Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate or PhD in Education, STEM, Curriculum Design, Instructional Design, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in curriculum development, including 2–3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Strong portfolio of curriculum projects developed and implemented at scale.
