Internship Overview
LOF is inviting high-potential Pre-Final and Final Year students to join our Research & Engineering Internship Program. This is a structured, mentorship-driven internship designed for students who want hands-on exposure to real engineering problems, applied research, and technical documentation aligned with global standards.
This is not a routine internship—interns work closely with engineers, researchers, and mentors on live projects linked to space systems, robotics, AI, electronics, and applied physics.
Eligible Backgrounds
Students currently pursuing the following degrees may apply:
- Aerospace Engineering
- Mechatronics Engineering
- Computer Science Engineering
- Electronics / Electronics & Communication Engineering
- BSc Physics (Final-year or equivalent)
Work Mode
- Hybrid Model
- On-site: Once a week at Lab of Future (Dubai)
- Remote: Research, documentation, simulations, and analysis work
Key Responsibilities
As an intern, you will:
- Work on engineering and research-oriented projects aligned with LOF’s focus areas
- Assist in design, simulation, prototyping, data analysis, or software development (depending on background)
- Learn how to structure, write, and format technical and research papers
- Understand the process of publishing research papers (journals, conferences, ethics, citations)
- Document experiments, results, and engineering workflows
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across engineering and science domains
- Present findings and progress through reviews and internal presentations
