Position Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Management Officer (PMO) to oversee planning, execution, and delivery of curriculum development projects across multiple subject verticals. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing cross-functional teams, optimizing workflows, and ensuring timely completion of academic content and training initiatives. This role is central to ensuring quality, accountability, and operational excellence within the Curriculum Department.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning & Execution
- Develop and manage project plans for curriculum development, content creation, and training rollouts across departments.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, deliverables, and key milestones in collaboration with academic leads.
2. Coordination & Communication
- Act as the central point of contact between curriculum developers, subject leads, multimedia teams, and training staff.
- Schedule and lead project meetings; document action items, track deliverables, and ensure follow-through.
3. Workflow & Process Optimization
- Design and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline curriculum development and content production.
- Introduce tools and methods to track project progress (e.g., Gantt charts, Trello, Asana, Notion, or similar platforms).
4. Risk Management & Problem Solving
- Identify project risks, bottlenecks, or resource gaps early and proactively resolve them.
- Ensure alignment with organizational goals, academic calendars, and external partner requirements.
5. Quality Assurance & Reporting
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as project delivery timelines, resource utilization, and content readiness.
- Prepare regular status reports, dashboards, and project updates for department heads and leadership.
6. Support in Stakeholder Engagement
- Coordinate with partner schools, training teams, and operations to ensure smooth rollout of curriculum-related initiatives.
- Assist in proposal development, budgeting, and documentation for new academic projects or collaborations.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong project management skills with a structured approach to execution and problem-solving.
- Proficiency in tools such as MS Project, Excel, Trello, Asana, Notion, or other workflow management platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work across academic and technical teams.
- Good understanding of curriculum development processes and timelines is preferred.
- Ability to multitask, manage shifting priorities, and work in a deadline-driven environment.
Required Qualifications:
- B.Tech in any discipline with a strong academic foundation.
- MBA with specialization in Project Management, Operations, or Education Management.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in the education or content development sector.
