History in the Making: Lab of Future
Students to Launch UAE's First Stratospheric CubeSat from Moscow
Lab of Future Goes Orbital: First Student-Built CubeSat to Launch from Russia
What happens when high school students are given real tools, real missions, and real mentors?
They go to space.
Lab of Future is thrilled to announce a groundbreaking achievement: for the first time ever, our students will build and launch their own Cube Satellite as part of ORBITA 25 β an elite international space tournament held in Moscow β in collaboration with Future of Education, Russia.
From engineering weather-monitoring payloads to presenting data at a global space forum, our students aren't just learning science. They're making history.
π First Time Lab of Future is Launching Its Own Stratospheric Cube Satellite.

WHAT IS ORBITA 25?
ORBITA 25 is a youth educational program in the field of space technologies, implemented with the support of Russian and international scientific and educational organizations such as the Russian Centre for Science and Culture and the Future of Education (Russia). It is designed to unite young innovators from CIS, EAEU, and partner countries like the UAE and India to:

Design and launch real Cube Satellites into the stratosphere

Train under the mentorship of Russian scientists, engineers, and educators

Participate in workshops hosted by cosmonauts and leading researchers at Russian space institutions

Present their missions at the International Youth Science & Education Forum, attended by government leaders, researchers, and academic bodies
As part of this immersive 15-day experience in Russia, students will also:
- Visit key scientific institutions and training centres linked to Russiaβs space ecosystem
- Interact with space scientists and cosmonauts
- Engage in cultural and scientific exchanges with students from around the world
This year, students from Lab of Future proudly represent the UAE β becoming the first from the region to take part in this global mission.
