Role Summary

We are looking for an empathetic, goal-driven, and high-energy Admission Counsellor to serve as the face and voice of Lab of Future. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for prospective students and parents, guiding them through our innovative offerings, facilitating trial classes, and driving enrollments. You will play a pivotal role in shaping student futures while helping us achieve our growth targets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prospective Student & Parent Engagement

  • Act as the trusted first point of contact for prospective students and their parents, building immediate trust and rapport.
  • Deliver engaging, age-appropriate presentations on our programs in Robotics, AI, Space & Astronomy, Aerospace and Coding.
  • Articulate the unique value proposition of STEM education over traditional extracurricular activities, highlighting the development of key skills like problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration.

2. End-to-End Admission Guidance

  • Guide families seamlessly from initial inquiry through to final enrollment.
  • Provide complete clarity on program selection, schedules, fee structures, and documentation requirements.
  • Ensure a transparent, hassle-free, and delightful onboarding experience for every parent and student.

3. Driving Enrollment Targets & Strategy

  • Proactively design and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly enrollment goals.
  • Analyze lead data and conversion trends to adapt counseling tactics and maximize results.
  • Balance aggressive growth goals with ethical practices and a commitment to high-quality service.

4. Lead Nurturing & Strategic Follow-ups

  • Maintain personalized communication via phone, email, and messaging platforms to keep prospective families engaged.
  • Utilize consultative counseling techniques to understand unique student aspirations, address objections, and alleviate parent concerns.
  • Track follow-ups meticulously to prevent drop-offs and drive higher conversion rates.

5. Trial Class Management & Conversion

  • Pitch and encourage parents to register for and attend trial/demo sessions to experience our pedagogy firsthand.
  • Clearly connect the trial experience to long-term learning and skill outcomes.
  • Conduct post-trial discussions to address feedback, handle objections, and successfully close enrollments.

6. Marketing & Event Collaboration

  • Partner with the Marketing Team to promote and participate in outreach initiatives, including school workshops, STEM fairs, webinars, and community events.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, representing Lab of Future with enthusiasm and professionalism to build strong brand presence.

7. CRM Management & Data Analytics

  • Diligently record and update all interactions, leads, trial bookings, and enrollments in the CRM platform.
  • Ensure 100% data integrity for accurate reporting and performance measurement.
  • Leverage CRM insights to identify pipeline bottlenecks, measure lead-to-conversion rates, and refine outreach strategies.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: 3–4 years of experience in educational counseling, admissions, sales, or customer-facing roles (experience in EdTech, K-12, or STEM programs is a strong plus).
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong active listening capabilities.
  • Consultative Approach: Proven ability to build rapport, understand individual needs, and guide decision-making empathetically.
  • Target-Driven: Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales/enrollment targets.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRM software and comfortable discussing tech-focused programs.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Education, or a related field.
