1. About Lab of Future
Lab of Future is a space science and technology education organisation providing hands-on learning experiences in areas including space science, robotics, artificial intelligence, drones, coding, IoT, 3D design, aeromodelling, cybersecurity, astronomy, and other emerging technologies.
Our programs are designed for different age groups and may vary by location, program format, duration, curriculum, and eligibility requirements.
2. Eligibility and Registration
- Participants must meet the age, grade, experience, or other eligibility requirements specified for the selected program.
- For participants below 18 years of age, registration and consent must be provided by a parent or legal guardian.
- Parents/guardians are responsible for providing accurate participant information during registration.
- Lab of Future reserves the right to verify eligibility and decline or cancel an enrolment if the participant does not meet the applicable requirements.
- Registration is considered confirmed only after completion of the required registration process and payment, where applicable.
3. Program Information
Lab of Future makes reasonable efforts to ensure that program descriptions, schedules, activities, instructors, locations, fees, and other information published on the website are accurate.
However:
- Program content may be updated or modified to improve the learning experience.
- Activities may vary depending on age group, skill level, availability of equipment, weather, venue conditions, or operational requirements.
- Program schedules, instructors, locations, and activities may be changed when necessary.
- Images and illustrations used on the website may represent the nature of an activity and may not always depict the exact program experience.
4. Fees and Payments
- Program fees must be paid according to the payment terms communicated during registration.

- A participant's place may not be confirmed until the required payment has been received.
- Fees paid for one participant or program may not be transferred to another participant or program unless expressly approved by Lab of Future.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellation and refund terms may vary depending on the program, camp, event, internship, or service.
Unless otherwise stated in the specific program terms:
- Requests for cancellation must be submitted through the official Lab of Future communication channel.
- Refund eligibility will be determined based on the applicable cancellation period and program-specific refund policy.
- Registration, administrative, material, processing, or other non-refundable charges may be deducted where applicable.
- Once a program or activity has commenced, refunds may not be available for unused sessions or partial participation unless specifically stated otherwise.
- Failure to attend a scheduled session does not automatically qualify the participant for a refund or replacement session.
- If Lab of Future cancels or substantially changes a program, the organisation may offer an alternative date, transfer, credit, or refund, subject to the circumstances and applicable program policy.
Where a specific program page contains a different refund policy, that program-specific policy will apply to the relevant registration.
6. Attendance and Punctuality
Participants are expected to:
- Attend scheduled sessions on time.
- Follow the program schedule and instructions provided by Lab of Future staff.
- Inform the team in advance when absence is unavoidable.
- Complete any required preparation or activities communicated before a session.
Lab of Future is not responsible for learning opportunities missed due to late arrival, absence, or failure to participate.
7. Student Conduct
Lab of Future aims to provide a safe, respectful, inclusive, and collaborative learning environment.
Participants are expected to:
- Treat instructors, mentors, staff, and fellow participants respectfully.
- Follow safety instructions and laboratory procedures.
- Use equipment and facilities responsibly.
- Avoid behaviour that may cause harm, disruption, intimidation, harassment, or damage to people or property.
- Follow instructions relating to robotics, electronics, tools, drones, model rocketry, machinery, computers, and other equipment.
Lab of Future reserves the right to suspend or remove a participant from a program if their behaviour creates a safety risk, seriously disrupts the learning environment, or violates these Terms & Conditions.
8. Safety and Risk
Many Lab of Future programs involve practical activities and equipment, which may include robotics, electronics, tools, drones, aeromodelling, model rocketry, 3D printing, laboratory activities, and other technology-based projects.
Participants must follow all safety instructions provided by Lab of Future personnel.
Parents/guardians are responsible for informing Lab of Future before participation of any relevant physical limitations, allergies, accessibility requirements, or other information that may reasonably affect safe participation.
Participants may be required to follow additional safety rules depending on the activity or venue.
9. Equipment and Materials
Lab of Future may provide equipment, tools, components, learning materials, software, devices, or other resources during a program.
Participants must use these resources responsibly.
Any loss or damage resulting from intentional misuse, reckless behaviour, or violation of safety instructions may be subject to appropriate recovery or replacement charges, where permitted by applicable law.
10. Photography, Video and Media
Lab of Future may photograph or record activities, events, workshops, demonstrations, or student projects for documentation, educational, promotional, or marketing purposes.
Where required, appropriate consent will be obtained from parents/guardians or participants.
If you do not wish a participant to appear in promotional photography or video, please communicate this to Lab of Future through the appropriate official channel before participation.
11. Student Projects and Intellectual Property
Participants may create projects, designs, prototypes, presentations, code, photographs, videos, research work, or other materials during Lab of Future programs.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- Participants retain rights in their original work to the extent provided by applicable law.
- Lab of Future may use photographs or publicly presented project information for educational, documentation, or promotional purposes where appropriate consent has been obtained.
- Lab of Future's curriculum, teaching materials, lesson plans, activities, designs, branding, documentation, and proprietary resources remain the intellectual property of Lab of Future or their respective owners.
- Program materials may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, resold, or commercially exploited without prior written permission.
12. Online Learning and Digital Resources
Certain programs may include access to online learning platforms, digital resources, recorded materials, assignments, or learning management systems.
Access may be subject to:
- The duration specified for the relevant program.
- Individual login credentials.
- Platform availability and technical requirements.
- The applicable terms of third-party platforms.
Participants must not share login credentials or redistribute paid learning materials.
Lab of Future does not guarantee uninterrupted access to third-party platforms or services outside its reasonable control.
13. Certificates and Performance Reports
Where applicable, Lab of Future may provide certificates, performance reports, completion records, or other recognition upon successful completion of a program.
Eligibility may depend on attendance, participation, completion of required activities, assessments, projects, or other program requirements.
Participation alone does not automatically guarantee a certificate unless the applicable program terms state otherwise.

Such circumstances may include natural disasters, severe weather, public emergencies, government restrictions, infrastructure failures, technical disruptions, or other unforeseen events.
Where practical, Lab of Future may provide an alternative schedule, online arrangement, transfer, credit, or other appropriate solution.
